'Penkenna Evening' by Lawrence Dyer, Oil Painting
About This Work
Penkenna is the large cliff on the north side of Crackington Haven--the cove that I regularly paint and walk around. This view can be seen from the outdoor seating by the Cabin cafe--there's nothing better than sitting there with a cup of coffee and a slice of homemade cake while watching the waves lap in as the sun sets.
Here, in 'Penkenna Evening', I've really tried to capture how the sunlight catches the surface of the sea, and the dazzling pattern it creates. This pattern is everchanging and the energy is spectacular.
I've made this painting into a high-quality print too. Please check out my website for that! http://www.lawrencedyer.co.uk/penkenna-evening-by-lawrence-dyer-fine-art-print
